Production & Supply Chain Lead

Cala Jade is a premium leather goods brand from Oslo, dedicated to craftsmanship, timeless design, and responsible production. Built by a small and close-knit team, we create distinctive leather bags and accessories rooted in quality, creativity, and connection to our materials. We are six dedicated team members working from our charming offices on Bygdøy allé in Oslo. Our brand is growing and we are now looking for a Production & Supply Chain Lead who enjoys being close to the product and takes pride in making things work in practice. You thrive on responsibility, are hands-on, solution-oriented, and value collaboration, trust, and respect.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of the entire production journey, from design intent to finished product.
  • Work closely and manage supplier and factory relations through continuous communication, follow-up and occasional on-site visits.
  • Plan and coordinate materials, procurement, purchase orders, and production schedules across multiple collections to ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform production and material costing, ensuring accurate pricing, margin control, and efficient budgeting.
  • Coordinate logistics and take end-to-end responsibility for transport of materials and collections to ensure smooth, timely deliveries across our retail and e-commerce channels.
  • Ensure quality, transparency, and traceability throughout the supply chain.
  • Drive responsible sourcing and sustainability initiatives, including certification processes and reporting.
  • Solve problems as they arise, keeping things moving smoothly in a fast-paced environment

Your experience

  • Experience from production, supply chain or product development, ideally within fashion, premium goods or high-end manufacturing. 
  • Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. Leather and leather goods knowledge is an advantage. 
  • Solid experience with costing, planning and production follow-up.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills  with suppliers and manufacturing partners. 
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards, certifications, and responsible production practices.
  • Confident user of Excel, with knowledge of ERP or production systems. Experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is an advantage, and familiarity with sustainability reporting tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English
